GENERAL INFORMATION

Area of ​​Origin: Produced in San Mauro la Bruca, in the heart of Cilento, this pure Aglianico comes from south-facing vineyards at 280 meters above sea level, on clay-limestone soils of the Cilento Flysch.

Grapes: 100% Aglianico

Vinification and Aging: Manual harvesting at the end of September selects only the finest grapes. Gentle vinification, destemming and pressing of the carefully selected grapes, fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, and then vinified with long maceration on the skins. The wine ages for 14 months in stainless steel with periodic bâtonnage, followed by further bottle aging, expressing an elegant and territorial profile, with a fine structure and moderate alcohol content.

Color: Ruby red with violet reflections.

Nose: On the nose, it presents a complex bouquet that ranges from notes of red fruit such as cherry, currant, and blackberry, alternating with spicy notes.

Palate: On the palate, it has a broad and voluminous entry with subtle, well-integrated tannins. The finish is fresh and persistent.

Alcohol Content: 12.5% ​​vol.

Serving Temperature: 16-18°C.
